The Directors: Sharon & John Searle

Sharon holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Massey University.  She has worked in senior management positions in Canada, Switzerland and New Zealand and speaks fluent English and French.   
Throughout her 25+ year career in Human Resources Management, she has demonstrated high integrity, excellent organisational skills, creative problem solving skills and strengths in research and analysis.  She has managed projects with a very hands-on approach particularly in the area of change management.  She also has excellent computer skills.  Within the Human Resources discipline, Sharon's experience and knowledge covers a broad range of activities including Recruitment and Selection, Staff Training and Development, Compensation and Benefit programs, Recognition and Reward and Career Counselling.  Sharon's experience spans both the private and not-for-profit sectors.

John has had a long international career in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, most recently as the Chief Executive of New Zealand Red Cross.  He spent 11 years with the Fletcher Group of Companies including five years as the General Manager of Fletcher Fishing Limited.  Proven abilities in Marketing, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Change Management and General Management make up John's portfolio of skills.  He is particularly strong on sound Financial Planning and Management, has excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys helping people develop their own skills and knowledge. A very goal focused person, John likes to see results.
